[ANNOUNCE] XMLOpen 2004 Conference

Announcing the XMLOpen Conference 2004

XMLOpen is a new event, for practitioners of both XML and open source
technologies. It will provide a forum for exploring how to successfully
combine software acumen with the skills needed to use XML and deploy open
source software. The conference organizers are now taking submissions for
conference presentations and are actively soliciting speakers for this two
and a half day event to be held in Cambridge, UK from 21-23 September, 2004
at the Cambridge Computing Laboratory, Cambridge, UK.

Supported by O'Reilly UK Ltd and XML:UK, XMLOpen is an event for software
developers, standards developers, technology managers and other technical
specialists to exchange ideas, methods, experiences and advances related to
XML and open source technologies. The conference will include workshops,
presentations, and practical problem solving opportunities in twin-track and
plenary conference sessions. The presentations will cover techniques common
to open source XML projects and will include choices in development,
application development best practice, selection and use of platforms and
frameworks, issues in releasing software, licensing implications, etc.
