Many years ago we discussed in a MSKINS issue how to use a social bar plugin which will exactly implement that. At the end no one was willing work in a PR. Since I absolutely do not care about this social network pestilence I wouldn't expect you to invest too much time into it. I also am sure that the Google search bar needs to be implemented this way.
If you cannot find a simple solution in less that two hours, we need to drop all of them.
