   `A general UX thing...if it's not difficult, I would consider allowing a single space between value and unit. (ex. Even with good docs, someone might expect something like 60 MiB/s to just work.)

   About this comment - it should be easy to add the space not sure we want to. 
   My line of thinking - if there is no tooling reason then we need to provide a default format and stick to it in the cassandra.yaml. The less parsing, less mistakes and less confusion is possible. But it should be also clear in any error message and docs to support it too.
