[jira] [Created] (BIGTOP-1140) Solr server watchdog heartbeat requests shouldn't be proxied

Roman Shaposhnik created BIGTOP-1140:
----------------------------------------

Summary: Solr server watchdog heartbeat requests shouldn't be proxied
                 Key: BIGTOP-1140
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-1140
             Project: Bigtop
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: General
    Affects Versions: 0.7.0
            Reporter: Roman Shaposhnik
            Assignee: Roman Shaposhnik
             Fix For: 0.8.0

solrd has a simple watchdog routing that relies on sending HTTP requests via curl. Depending on various configuration parameters these requests could be a subject to proxying. This complicates things. Given that watchdog always runs on the same node the suggestion here is to send requests to 127.0.0.1 instead.
