The class {{VersionableState}} checks whether the {{nt:frozenNode}} definition is {{mix:referenceable}}. This was introduced for OAK-9134. There are other places in Oak that need to perform this check as well (e.g. OAK-9290). The implementation should therefore be refactored to avoid code duplication.
