NPanday 1.5 reease

Dear NPanday developers,

Like a year ago I contributed a couple patches for NPANDAY-510 NPANDAY-533
and I've been waiting for a the next release since then. Now that I'm about
to release a my project I'm being forced to create a private release on my
corporate repository or replace wix-maven-plugin with exec-maven-plugin.

Are there any plans to release NPanday 1.5? Is development still active?

there are no easy-to-merge changes :-)

Hi Lars,

thanks for the prompt response.
Having a release depend on a snapshot is too much risk. I switched my
project to use exec-maven-plugin for calling candle.exe and light.exe
temporarily.

Maybe there is something I can do to help speed up the release?
Maybe there could be a 1.4.1 release with some easy-to-merge changes from
1.5/trunk?

Hi,

Brett and I had some trys to release NPanday 1.5 - but couldn't wrap it up yet.
We are still actively developing it - but it goes in rushes.

@Brett: from your point, what is in the way for releasing? Failing ITs?

But you can configure the release plugin to accept snapshot plugin versions.
