Apache2 support?

I had asked this a few months, maybe more back. Is there any thought to get
Rivet going with Apache2?

There's definitely 'thought', but no effort.  I don't have the time to
dedicate to it these days.  It's a bit more involved than just doing
some API updating.  At least it is if you don't want to limit yourself
to the pre-fork MPM...  You have to take into consideration threads and
all the crud that entails.
