What should we do to prepare for this event?

Experiences from GSOC told me we should first wait for the ASF being selected as an organization and then we would be able to provide ideas and tasks for our project. Is the same process apply to this event?

Yes, let's wait for the good news from ASF. While that may be start to
think what documentation need to be improved?
