URL: https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/25837

Users were able to read tags in version 3.0.0 but it is permission issues to read the tags in 3.0.1.
The big thing is even "admin" user is also not able to read it.

   #### How to reproduce the bug

   1. Go to Dashboards landing page
   2. Click on edit button for any dashboard
   3. Try to add a new tag
   4. See error as shown in screenshot

   ### Expected results

User should be able to read, add tags based on permission provided in a particular role.

   ### Actual results

   what actually happens.

   #### Screenshots

   ### Environment
   Feature Flag
   `TAGGING_SYSTEM=True`

   ### Additional information
Roles do not have the permissions listed related to tags like `read on Tags`, `delete on Tags`, `add on Tags`, `edit on Tags` which was actually present earlier in 3.0.0

Hi @pankajsoni22. Tags were not officially released yet. You can check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWmDlSbNeQA for more information about the feature development. What's in 3.0.1 is only a partially developed feature behind a feature flag.

Tags will be available in 3.1.

@michael-s-molina Thanks for response but if this is not released yet, why it is working in 3.0.0, The release video on youtube also includes TAGGING_SYSTEM in the discussion. Also check the feature changelog of 3.0.0 that also says it is involved.

@pankajsoni22 Maybe your specific use case was working on 3.0.0 but the feature was half completed and behind a feature flag. If you compare what's currently on master you'll see that the tags in 3.0.0 contain many bugs and poor UX. Since 3.0.0 many PRs were merged to finish the feature, which is not finished yet as you can see by the presentation link that I shared.
