[jira] [Commented] (GUACAMOLE-1268) Rename guacd recording after the session is completed

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-1268?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17268175#comment-17268175 ]

Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-1268:
----------------------------------------

This is already achieved through advisory file locks. A lock is acquired on the file while the recording is underway, and released when the recording is complete. The "guacenc" utility is specifically written to check for this and refuse to convert any recordings that are in progress (unless forced).

> Rename guacd recordings after the session has been completed so that scripts can detect recordings that are finished (and for example automatically convert those to video files).
>
> Suggestion is to apply the suffix ".guac" to the recording file.
