[jira] Commented: (DERBY-185) Update incubator status page
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-185?page=comments#action_61695 ]
Jean T. Anderson commented on DERBY-185:
----------------------------------------
For the "what to edit" ...
Early context for derby is here:
http://mail-archives.eu.apache.org/mod_mbox/db-derby-dev/200409.mbox/%3c41375CD8.4030501@Golux.Com%3e
The URL below was posted to the incubator list and there's an "Updating the site" section: http://incubator.apache.org/howtoparticipate.html
I found this specific location in another post to general@i.a.o:
The Incubator top-level is in repos/asf/incubator/public/trunk/
and each project is at repos/asf/incubator/$project/
And this checkout just succeeded:
svn co https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/public
I found the derby file in:
public/trunk/site-author/projects/derby.cwiki
As a test I added Jeremy Boynes as a committer to that file. My svn commit completed successfully; i.e. it appears that derby committers have sufficient karma to update the podling project page.
Now just need to unwind the rest of the instructions in http://incubator.apache.org/howtoparticipate.html from going from wiki to html.
