Release 5.5.5
I think we should release a security-focused 5.5.5. I volunteer to be the release manager.
I’ll make an RC later today after I backport issues.

There is still something fishy with 5.5 branch:

Was this caused by the TIKA updates?

As much as I’d like to remove Morphlines, I don’t think an ancient patch version is the right place to do it.
The Solr branch_5_5 Tika 1.7 support includes jmatio 1.0, which has no dependencies.
Tomorrow I’ll revert SOLR-8981 and SOLR-10335 on branch_5_5, remove jmatio, then cut the RC.

The other problem is Morphlines. It's not compatible to latest TIKA! I later versions we removed the Morphlines plugin, but in 5.5 it won't work anymore.
As far as I see, Solr 5.5 uses TIKA 1.7. I am not sure if this old version already have MATLAB support - does it contain jmatio.jar? If not, we can revert both updates:
