Help with website

Hi!

I was suggested to contact you regarding some issues I had on your website.
I ran across your resource page while researching an article (
https://solr.apache.org/community.html) and this link wasn’t working:
- https://www.apache.org/foundation/policies/conduct, but I just checked
again and it seems to be working now... maybe their site was down for a
little while. Sorry about that!

Also, I'm curious, are you still accepting suggestions to this page? I
volunteered with a group last semester that I think would be great to
include on your page as well:

It’s a dedicated organization that works to better support our communities
and every individual regardless of their gender, age, nationality, or
religion by providing free high-quality legal templates and information
online: FormsPal.com

Do you think it would be possible for you to include them on your page? I'm
always trying to spread the word when I can. Please let me know!

Thanks and have a great day!

It occurs to me that this mail itself is potentially spam advertising. Note:

1) Attempt to create fear (oh no I have a broken link, or a server problem)
to get attention and then transition to unrelated request
2) Inclusion of a mention of a *commercial* web site
3) The request clearly doesn't make sense considering the pages linked.
4) extremely generic lead in "contact you regarding some issues I had on
your website" that would work for any site.
5) The sender is sending from uscmailing.org? probably meant to make one
think it's related to USC university, but the domain is registered in
Iceland.

This is a mailing list, and thus responses go to the list and then from the
list to you, and not directly from a respondent to you. Perhaps you are
not subscribed to the list? I'm sending this email directly to you as well

Thanks for the pointer. I think the CoC pertains to what contributors and
community members of ASF projects should and shouldn't do, so adding a link
to FormsPal.com is not appropriate. However, if you have specific
suggestions regarding existing CoC guidelines, you can reach out to
dev@community.apache.org.

Regards,
Ishan
