   Hi @pakmarkthub I used MXNet v1.1.0 on my machine and am unable to reproduce the issue. Could you please verify if the issue is still persisting at your end? I was able to run `train_cifar10.py` file without any issue. I was able to see the validation accuracy on epoch 0 and the program didn't hang.
