PDF as graphic?

Hi all,
I am just wodering if is possible to put into a PDF file (with using Servlet and FOP)
instead of JPEG/GIF/BMP another PDF file as graphics???
Something like:
<fo:external-graphic src="file:graphic.pdf"/>
