Groovy script has stopped to work
Hi Guys,
My Groovy script has stopped to work after updating SMX. Here's component
configuration:
...
<sm:activationSpec componentName="groovytrans1"
service="hb:groovytrans1">
<sm:component>
<bean
class="org.apache.servicemix.components.groovy.GroovyComponent">
<property name="scriptText">
<value>
<![CDATA[
outMessage.setProperty("javax.jbi.messaging.protocol.headers", null)
outMessage.setContent(inMessage.getContent());
]]>
</value>
</property>
</bean>
</sm:component>
</sm:activationSpec>
...
ServiceMix outputs following:
ERROR - SedaQueue -

Any idea of what's wrong with that?
Thanks in advance!

I've found the property as you've suggested but that doesn't help.
I've also tried to change property name to 'engine' as error message
suggests and SMX now responds with following message:

Seems that SMX cannot found groovy script engine or am I missed something?
Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello Maxim,
if you are using SMX 3.1 you can also use the new
script component at
http://servicemix.org/site/servicemix-script.html
Cheers,

hello,
you have to add this line into your bean definition :
<property name="scriptEngineName" value="groovy"/>
Best regards,
Grégoire A.

I've got the same message when replaced groovy-1.0-jsr-04.jar with
groovy-all-1.0-jsr-04.jar.
What's the right package to put there: groovy-1.0-jsr-04.jar or
groovy-all-1.0-jsr-04.jar?
Best regards, Maxim Tebenev.

jsr223-pr.jar jar is an implementation of JSR 223 API, based on the
Public Review,
while the livetribe-jsr223-2.0.0.jar jar is am implementation of JSR
223 API, based
on the Final Release. Both define the same classes, but they are incompatible,
due to changes introduced between the PR and FR.
See http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=223 for more informations.

Hello Grégoire,
Thanks for the answer!
I've put following jars (latest version) in lib/optional:
groovy-all-1.0-jsr-04.jar
jsr-223-1.0-pr.jar
livetribe-jsr223-2.0.0.jar
But I still have script non-working. Are there any other jars that I should
put in lib/optional?
Thanks!
Best regards, Maxim Tebenev.

Hi Maxim,
You have a mismatch between to old jar,
maybe jsr223.jar, there are a pb with
javax.script.ScriptEngine.createBindings method
