This code (https://github.com/apache/cassandra/blob/trunk/src/java/org/apache/cassandra/db/partitions/UnfilteredPartitionIterators.java#L243) makes an improper copy of an iterator that's wrapped by MetricRecording, whose onClose() records the latency of the execution.
