[jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-922) start-server.sh doesn't work if there's no active non-loopback interface

Adam Fuchs created ACCUMULO-922:
-----------------------------------

Summary: start-server.sh doesn't work if there's no active non-loopback interface
                 Key: ACCUMULO-922
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-922
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: scripts
    Affects Versions: 1.4.2
            Reporter: Adam Fuchs
            Assignee: John Vines

When using the init.d scripts to start Accumulo, the start-server.sh script fails to start a server if there is no active network interface (i.e. has an IP address assigned) other than the loopback interface.
