Hi [~DamD],

By default, the file will remain available in NiFi - in the content repository (possibly in the archive part of it, in case the flow file is no longer available in the flow). Defaulting to false can also be problematic as the same file will be picked up again and again. In any case the GetFile processor is more or less discouraged going forward. ListFile and FetchFile should be used instead.
