Help doing attachments

Hi all,

Could somebody please give me some simple pointers to doing SOAP with
attachments, please? I've tried the documentation and it's a little sparse,
and I can't figure out the examples!

All I need is the ability to pass an XML document to my method. I realise
that I could just pass this as I string, but I'd prefer to avoid the
escaping by passing it as an attachment. The method doesn't need to return
anything, but I do need RPC-style calling as it could throw an exception. If
this means I must return something then I'll return a simple boolean or
something.

Essentially, I need to know what the server-side class would look like, what
the WSDL would look like and what the WSDD would look like.

Also, will this interoperate with .NET?

Many thanks,

Dan.

there is no attachment support in .net; if you want interop with .net 1.0
you must use base64. the new .net web services toolkit adds DIME, that axis
also supports, but the rest of the java land doesnt....
