[jira] [Resolved] (IMPALA-10101) Impala branch cdh5-2.9.0_5.12.1 bin/boostrip_build failed to download python requirements

Tim Armstrong resolved IMPALA-10101.
------------------------------------
    Resolution: Invalid

This JIRA instance does not track issues with Cloudera's releases so I'm going to close this.

I wouldn't expect those older branches to build without backporting changes - there were a series of issues with Python infrastructure as a result of changes to PyPi that we had to fix in Apache Impala (but didn't backport to older releases that we're not maintaining). You can get an idea of what the were by looking at the changes here https://github.com/apache/impala/commits/master/infra

E.g. IMPALA-6863 IMPALA-6682 etc.
