Custom repository db

Hi,

I've written to mailets and matchers for populating a custom db with
incoming and outgoing mail. This db is used by a mail client web app.
However, currently this db exists in parallel with the default James
repository db. My question is - How easy is it to configure James to use my
custom db as its repository?
