[jira] [Commented] (UNOMI-139) Isolate Profiles By Client

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UNOMI-139?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16255543#comment-16255543 ]

Serge Huber commented on UNOMI-139:
-----------------------------------

Hello Don,

It sounds like you are describing requirements for some sort of multi-tenancy. This is not currently supported in Apache Unomi and the "regular" way to get around it is indeed to have multiple instance of the server.

However it would be interesting to collect use cases on this because I think it could be possible to add this in the roadmap. Do you have a list of requirements ? Also, as usual any contributions are welcome.

Best regards,
  Serge Huber.

> Is there a use case for data from multiple clients on the same Unomi instance?
> How can we isolate profiles by a value in the event or session (like scope) so that a profile from one client's event is not merged with a profile from another.
> At the moment we are using multiple instances of Unomi.
