[~wangmiao1981] the problem is in the Java example only.
[~kiranbpatil] read https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SPARK/Contributing+to+Spark first if you please; it doesn't make sense to target 1.6.1, which you shouldn't set anyway.
