java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: ...error

Hi,

Iam trying to record a web application(internal) using Jmeter.
if i uncheck "Bypass proxy for local adresses" only iam able to navigate
through the application using the browser.

while recording using jmeter iam getting the following error.

i searched for this in forum but didn't get satsifactory answer.
could any one please suggest a solution.
