Searching more Mahout content

Hello guys,

Over at http://search-lucene.com we index Mahout project's mailing lists,
wiki, web site,
source code, javadoc, jira...

Would the community be interested in a patch that replaces the JIRA-powered
search (which is available at the new&better look of site) with that from
search-lucene.com,
set to search only Mahout project by default?

We look into adding this search service for all supported Lucene related
projects and sub-projects.

Assuming people are for this, any suggestions for how the search should
function by default or any specific instructions for how the search box
should
be modified would be great!

Thank you,
Alex Baranau.

P.S. NUTCH community already accepted our proposal (please refer to
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NUTCH-909). Also the patch was
accepted at TIKA (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TIKA-488) and
others.

I'd suggest to use the approach discussed (and accepted) at
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TIKA-488, which is about using
multiple search engines.

Will create a patch (to include both engines) and submit it as JIRA issue if
there are no objections.

Hmm, looks like we lost the Lucid based one when we converted to the Wiki approach. I think it would make sense to support both.
