OAuth Google Gadget problem

Hi Guys,

I am testing Shindigs OAuth feature in my embedded shindig server. I
followed the tips given in
http://groups.google.com/group/oauth/browse_thread/thread/5dea93b44dbbb628and
added the google contact gadget. Also replaced the oauth.json file
given
in the forum. However I am getting an error which says

Something went wrong: Could not fetch gadget spec ====
Original request: GET /m8/feeds/contacts/default/base?alt=json Host:
www.google.com
X-Shindig-AuthType: oauth X-Forwarded-For: 192.168.185.1 X-shindig-dos: on
====

Some hep is greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards
/Nuwan

Hi,

The oauth extension fetches your gadget spec so it can parse the <OAuth...>
stanza to find the correct requestToken/authorize/accessToken endpoints.

Can your shindig instance make requests to www.google.com? Do you have a
firewall that's blocking access?
