WSIF: short and long term ...

hi,

it seems that WSIF is pretty stable but still one can wonder what should
be in its future - so i think we, WSIF users and developers, are to make
its future :)

i wonder if anybody care to comment what is currently missing the most
and what bugs/improvements from the list are really important? i think
in JIRA it is possible also to vote for bugs/issues:

http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&mode=hide&pid=10462&sorter/order=DESC&sorter/field=priority&resolutionIds=-1&component=10827

i have some ideas like support for WSDL 2.0, access to local Java
service (does not require network connection and accepts XML directly)
and not just Java object (so XML mapping can be avoided), and generally
more providers.

i am also thinking that it may be beneficial to give more direct access
to XML infoset from WSIF to enable better support for doc/literal and
more fine grained control over Java <=> XML infoset mapping (that would
make for more powerful dynamic invoker).

so please post to the mailing your suggestions or opinions.

thanks,

alek
