[jira] [Created] (EMPIREDB-486) InputControl: improve support for multiple input components

Rainer Döbele created EMPIREDB-486:
--------------------------------------

Summary: InputControl: improve support for multiple input components
                 Key: EMPIREDB-486
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/EMPIREDB-486
             Project: Empire-DB
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Rainer Döbele
            Assignee: Rainer Döbele

Usually an input control has a single input component for editing the value. However in some cases it might be convenient to split a value into parts and edit them separately, like e.g. a phone number or a date (day, year, month). The base implmentation for InputControl should generally to rely on a single input component although this is 99% the case.
