[jira] [Created] (CB-75) contact.remove does not remove the contact fully

contact.remove does not remove the contact fully
------------------------------------------------

                 Key: CB-75
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-75
             Project: Apache Callback
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Android
    Affects Versions: 0.9.5
            Reporter: Simon MacDonald
            Assignee: Anis Kadri

After a contact is deleted by calling contact.remove(), a contact with the "(Unknown)" display name is remained on the contact list in the stock Contacts app. Try to view the contact with the stock Contacts app will display a "The contact does not exist" toast message. Editing the contact with first name and last name can "put it back to life". Deleting the contact will permanently remove the contact. It appears that the contact.remove() method does not remove the contact fully. This behavior is tested on both 2.2 and 2.3 emulators (with Google APIs).

Simon MacDonald commented on CB-75:
-----------------------------------

The code looks good and I did some testing on my end and I no longer get the issue with the "(Unknown)" contact being left behind. Great work.
