[jira] [Created] (INFRA-11000) Access to git repository using ssh key

Anton Vinogradov created INFRA-11000:
----------------------------------------

Summary: Access to git repository using ssh key
                 Key: INFRA-11000
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-11000
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Git
            Reporter: Anton Vinogradov

Hello,

I'm trying to configure Teamcity to perform git push operations from command line without providing username or password.

I successfully setup our github repos using this instruction: https://help.github.com/articles/generating-ssh-keys/

But cant setup access to https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/ignite
(we added SSH key at id.people.apache.org & checked access to ssh sboikov@people.apache.org)

Gain error at push attemp using specified SSH key:
1) In case user specified at url:
fatal: could not read Password for 'https://sboikov@git-wip-us.apache.org': No such device or address
2) In case user not specified, only SSH key used:
fatal: could not read Username for 'https://git-wip-us.apache.org': No such device or address

Also I checked following:
teamcity@gg-teamcity-1:~$ ssh sboikov@git-wip-us.apache.org
LDAP authorisation check failed
Connection closed by 140.211.11.23

Is there any chances to use SSH keys for authentication with apache git?

Also is there any other way to perform git operations without providing username & password?
