Third party dependencies/projects to migrate to jakarta namespace
We learned the hard way that using shade and a classifier version of a
library is a pain because it breaks everything. So we should start
migrating the following to jakarta namespace asap with the help of the
communities.
- OpenJPA (not too painful because a single dependency)
- OpenWebBeans (this one is a pain because there are a few dependencies to
deal with)
- Johnzon (same as OpenWebBeans)
- BVal (not too complicated, so hopefully it should be fast)
- Geronimo Connector (same)
- Geronimo Transaction (same)
- BatchEE (might be a little more complex to support latest versions).
I already discussed it with the Johnzon community so I'm planning to start
with this one. Someone wants to jump into others?
