Pinging and Media casting

Does anyone know if pinging and mediacasting are available in Roller version
1.1.2?

Basic mediacasting support went in starting with 1.1.  
Automatic/configurable ping functionality first went into 1.2. 

If you are intent on sticking with 1.x for now, I'd go to 1.3 unless you 
have a really good reason not to.
