How to stop and restart a JMS consumer processor?

Hi!

I saw in the sources servicemix-jms-2009.01.0.1-fuse-sources that exist
a doStop() and doStart methods. How can I call this methods by
programmation?
I really do need to stop and restart a JMS consumer at will.
