When you try to use the sendRedirect of HTTPServletResponse, for example,
response.sendRedirect("mailto:someone@someserver.com");, this is redirecting to:

http://theservername/mailto:someone@someserver.com

Another i did not mention, and i tested it in tomcat 6.0.14 and works perfectly.

5.0.x is no longer supported. This issue has been fixed in 4.1.x, 5.5.x and 6.0.x.
