[jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-4093) start-here.sh script failing w/ Ansible

Josh Elser commented on ACCUMULO-4093:

bq. For 1.8 AFIACT it seems like no change is needed. In 1.8 there is a new start-daemon.sh script which always does nohup and this script is used to start local and remote processes.

Yay, that was the intent of the start-daemon.sh script :)

> Trying to use ansible to run accumulo from a tarball fails. Digging into the issue it seems this is caused by the lack of nohup when starting local processes in `start-server.sh`.
