Status: have a way to stop the core dump, but that doesn't make
it work properly.

locking up.

will be in 1.2b8, and info about the OS patch will be put in the

BTW, I'm seeing SEGVs on hotwired (irix 5.3) but it could very easily
be some of the embedded hotwired code. I'm going to try to snarf a
core file.
I too would like to see a 1.2b8 out soon. I'm going to be really busy with
work for the next two weeks however.
Does someone have the time to collect all the contrib stuff we've got and
make a directory for it?
