Trying to install Tuscany eclipse plugin from [1] fails when trying to download required feature file [2]
This started to happen recently, and is reproducible in different versions.
Has anything changed on the infra setup that restrict or sets a time limit for downloads from /dist ?
Note: As suggested in IRC, I'll be investigating how to avoid having the updatesite link from dist.

This is still valid, when trying to install from apache machine, there seems to be a timeout, and when downloading the big jar, the connection kind get timed out and the jar always get corrupted....
The only way it seem to work, is to get it from a mirror, but then I don' t know yet how to configure the update site to auto magically redirects to a random mirror... any hints here is appreciated.

This seems to be a more general problem than just that Tuscany problem, I've just hit it when with trying to download a Tomcat distribution as part of a build, and there's another report of it at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4NET-197
It seems like dist.apache.org and archive.apache.org are stopping the download after 4808k. If i change to use www.eu.apache.org all works fine.
