   ### What would you like to be improved?
   
   The AWS Java SDK 1.x has reached [EOL end of 2025](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/developer/announcing-end-of-support-for-aws-sdk-for-java-v1-x-on-december-31-2025/). Version [1.12.797](https://central.sonatype.com/artifact/com.amazonaws/aws-java-sdk-s3/1.12.797) is the last one for 1.x, released Dec 30, 2025.
   
   A migration to 2.x is required to get security updates. AWS provide a [migration guide](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sdk-for-java/latest/developer-guide/migration.html).
