DynaActionForm question.

In Struts 1.1b1
 I've got a DynaActionForm with an property declared as String[], when I invoke the action associed to this form without parameters I've got an exception : java.lang.NullPointerException : No indexed value for 'page[0]'
Why this exception is throw ? Why didn't get null value.
