[jira] [Created] (OPENMEETINGS-1759) The meeting time is wrong if I
send invitation via calendar
zhou camel created OPENMEETINGS-1759:
----------------------------------------
Summary: The meeting time is wrong if I send invitation via calendar
Key: OPENMEETINGS-1759
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-1759
Project: Openmeetings
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Invitation
Affects Versions: 4.0.0
Environment: MySQL and Windows 7 and OM 4.0.0
Reporter: zhou camel
Assignee: Maxim Solodovnik
Attachments: default.timezone.png, newevent.png, table.invitation.png, user1.png, user1invitation.png, user2.png, user2invitation.png
Administration - Configuration - default.timezone is Etc/GMT+8, just showned as attached default.timezone.png
User 1 (me) - timezone is Etc/GMT+8, just showned as attached user1.png
User 2 (another guy) - timezone is Etc/GMT+8, just showned as attached user2.png
When User 1 (me) create a new event from the default integrated calendar, and set the following key values, just showned as attached newevent.png
Start: 11/17/17 5:00 PM
End: 11/17/17 6:00 PM
Attendees: zhou multhread with email 22016709@qq.com
zhou camel with email camel_zhou@aisino-wincor.com
Notification type: iCal email
But when the users receive the invitation, the meeting time is not expected as me.
User 1 (me) receive it via Outlook, just showned as attached user1invitation.png
the stated meeting time is
Start: Nov 17, 2017 5:00:00 PM
End: Nov 17, 2017 6:00:00 PM
but the calendar meeting time is
2017/11/18 Sat 9:00-10:00 (this is NOT expected)
User 2 (another guy) receive it via IE browser, just showned as attached user2invitation.png
the stated meeting time is
Start: Nov 17, 2017 5:00:00 PM
End: Nov 17, 2017 6:00:00 PM
no calendar meeting time (this is expected)
From the database table "invitation", the value of column "inserted" is correct with the correct timezone (Etc/GMT+8), but the value of columns "valid_from" and "valid_to" are wrong because they are calculated by another timezone, just showned as attached table.invitation.png
