Not sure I fully understand this bug report, but the first thing to do is to
upgrade from m3 to 3.3 final and try again.

As for the CLASSPATH, TC 3.3 will ignore it, so I don't know how is that relevant.

Another thing to try is a different type of database, just to eliminate JDBC
driver problems.
