Tez has some smoke tests we can run directly, for those evaluating ambari or hortonworks based hadoop distributions using bigtop.

Lets go ahead and add them in, i.e. http://hortonworks.com/hadoop-tutorial/supercharging-interactive-queries-hive-tez/.
