Hive only supports endline (\n) as LINES TERMINATED BY char. So hive tables line terminator will to be customized. So for hive TEXTFILE's FIELDS TERMINATED BY char and ESCAPED BY char will be supported. CSV's column delimiter, quote, and escape character will be supported.
