As you wish to preserve everything, step one is to hand over the repository to either our role account, asfgit (https://github.com/asfgit/), or one of the organisation admins (my GitHub username, for instance, is Humbedooh). Once this is done, please let us know, and we can transfer it to the Apache organisation.
