Re: [rhillegas] your MAVEN repo artifacts
Hi Henk,
I am confused about what is broken. I see my key in the KEYS file here:
http://www.apache.org/dist/db/derby/KEYS
I am confused about what "PGP key 8656BABD" represents. I thought that
my public key was 98E21827. Here is the output of the list-sigs command
for me:
pub 1024D/98E21827 2006-02-04
uid Rick Hillegas <rh...@apache.org>
sig 3 98E21827 2006-02-04 Rick Hillegas <rh...@apache.org>
sig AB821FBC 2006-02-13 Andrew McIntyre <fu...@apache.org>
sig 65461B79 2006-08-16 Craig Russell <cl...@apache.org>
sig 88D83722 2006-08-17 Andreas Korneliussen <an...@apache.org>
sig 35C100F0 2006-08-17 Bernt M. Johnsen <be...@apache.org>
sig 990ED4AA 2006-08-17 Knut Anders Hatlen <ka...@apache.org>
sub 2048g/EA8075A5 2006-02-04
sig 98E21827 2006-02-04 Rick Hillegas <rh...@apache.org>
Can you help me understand what is broken?
Thanks,
-Rick

Kristian,
thanks for the quick response. I must confess I'm still not familiar
with the intricacies of maven deployment ; I just check the sigs.
That said, I think deleting stuff doesn't make a difference.
Please mail repository@apache.org, if the cc's don't elicit
an answer to your question.

Hi,
I'm sorry for the confusion, which is due to my testing of the
deployment for Derby's Maven 2 artifacts. I just replaced the files that
got changed after Rick's initial deployment. Testing was done on
10.5.3.0 because it contained errors and has been deprecated. As far as
I understand, files that get overwritten aren't distributed to the
mirrors (the rsync repos is write-once).
10.5.3.0 was Derby's first Maven 2 artifacts that got produced and
deployed. 10.5.3.0_1 was then produced to correct the error in the POMs.
As a side question, can we just delete the 10.5.3.0 files, or will that
cause trouble?
I'm off to bed now, let me know if I have to do more to clean up my
mess. I'll do it first thing tomorrow.
Regards,

Thanks for the explanation, Henk. Since you included Kristian on your
response, I believe he will fix this promptly.

Rick,
sorry for the confusion ; this regards file
/www/people.apache.org/repo/m2-ibiblio-rsync-repository/
org/apache/derby/derby-project/10.5.3.0/derby-project-10.5.3.0.pom.asc
... a sig file made with key 8656BABD, owned by
Kristian Waagan (Apache Software Foundation) <kristwaa.at.apache.org>
It is this key that can't be found in the KEYS files.
I sent my mail to you because you are the filesystem owner of the file.
I hope you can see to it that this key (8656BABD) is added to some
proper KEYS file.
