Error when building SVN 1.2 on Solaris 8

I'm trying to build SVN 1.2 on a Sparc/Solaris 8 box. 
I run 

configure --prefix={where I want it built}
--enable-all-static

which looks fine.  When I run make, it errors I think
when it starts to link the apps together....

So, I'm assuming that it's looking for these libraries
(sendfile, rt, resolv, pthread, dl, z) and can't find
them?

Thing is, I can't find them either.  Any idea what
needs to be set up in my environment for it to find
these?
