Re: [VOTE] Release Email 1.3.3 based on RC2

Posted by Benedikt Ritter <br...@apache.org>.
Hello Thomas,

thanks for working on this release. I've reviewed with maven 3.2.2 using
Oracle JDK 1.8.0_05 and Oracle JDK 1.7.0_60

- builds fine from sources
- source archives have the same content as the tag
- Signs and hashes are good
- Site and reports look good

One minor nit: The RELEASE-NOTES.txt doesn't contain jira issue EMAIL-140,
which is listed in the changes report. Since this change only affects users
building from sources using Java 8, I don't it's super critical that it is
listed there.

my +1

Regards,
Benedikt

Build works fine with Java 1.5 and 1.7 on Windows 7. Artifacts and site
look good.

Release contents, release notes look good.
Sigs and hashes are good.
Tested maven OSX Jdk 1.7.0_55, 1.8.0_05; linux 1.6.0_43-b01
All jdks Oracle.
I did not test the site build (all tests above are "clean test").

One suggested improvement for subsequent releases:
* Include sources jar with the binary distribution
