Newbie questions
Hello,
I am new to FOP, and have a few questions with which I'm hoping to get some
help:
1. I downloaded FOP from the apache distribution directory. I got
"fop_bin_0_13_0.jar", and yet when I run it, it reports: "FOP 0.12.2 [dev]".
Is this correct?
2. Does FOP currently support table cells spanning multiple columns? If so,
what is the correct syntax? The "n-columns-spanned" used in some of
RenderX's sample files does not seem to work.
3. Does FOP support any of: keep-together, keep-with-previous, or
keep-with-next traits? I cannot seem to get them to work. A PDF is rendered
without complaint, but they seem to have no effect.
4. What is the current state of SVG support? I see the simple example in
extensive.fo supplied with the distribution. I created a more complex SVG
from Illustrator 9 which used paths, and could not get FOP to work with it.
TIA

Keiron has improved svg support considerably; please use the cvs version.
