[jira] Created: (XMLBEANS-139) Enough XmlCursor manipulation can break an XmlObject

Enough XmlCursor manipulation can break an XmlObject
----------------------------------------------------

         Key: XMLBEANS-139
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XMLBEANS-139
     Project: XMLBeans
        Type: Bug
    Versions: Version 2 Beta 1
    Reporter: David Jencks
 Attachments: XmlCursorManipulationTest.java, connector_1_5.xsd, xmlconfig.xml

Enough XmlCursor manipulation can result in an XmlObject that will not validate. Writing it out to a string and reparsing results in a valid document. Test case attached, together with a needed schema and the config to compile the schema with. This is a problem only with v2: this manipulation works fine with v1.

[jira] Updated: (XMLBEANS-139) Enough XmlCursor manipulation can break an XmlObject

Posted by "David Jencks (JIRA)" <xm...@xml.apache.org>.

David Jencks updated XMLBEANS-139:
----------------------------------

    Attachment: XmlCursorManipulationTest.java
                xmlconfig.xml
                connector_1_5.xsd

The sun schema does not have an asf license, but there does not seem to be a problem including it in apache svn or distributing it with apache projects.
